Answers to common questions about becoming a Loan Officer with NEXA

Yes, you start at 100% commission with no per-loan fees. After six months, you'll need one producing recruit per month and to fund loans through select NEXA100 partner lenders to keep it. If you sign up through my link, you'll have a recruiter who's serious about helping you get set up and stay on track. We have a full onboarding team, but I go a step further and make myself available to you personally.

There are no desk fees and no per-loan junk fees, what you earn on funded loans is yours. That said, here are a couple of optional costs you may want to know about:

  • Loan Officer Support Portal - Free for your first 90 days, but if you sign up with NEXA, the tech fee is only $75 for W-2 loan officers and $80 for 1099 LOs (at the time of this writing). The tech fee includes access to LOS and LendingPad. It also includes live Zoom coaching, on-demand training, marketing tools, automation help, and business planning support.

  • Branded Marketing Assets - A large library of ready-to-use marketing content is included, but if you want certain premium or customized assets (like personalized flyers or videos), there may be an additional charge.

  • Recruiting Tools & Website - If you plan to recruit other loan officers, you'll likely want a personal landing page or branded website, and possibly a paid marketing funnel or CRM add-ons. These tools can help you grow your team, but they come at a cost, depending on how far you want to take it.

Everything listed here is optional. You can originate loans and stay active without any of these, but they're available if you want to grow your business or build a downline.

NEXA gives you access to over 270 wholesale lenders. That includes FHA, VA, jumbo, non-QM, DSCR, bank statement, investor, reverse, construction, and commercial loans. If it's out there, NEXA probably has it.

No catch, just performance. You can start earning 100% commission right away. To keep it after six months, you'll need one producing recruit per month and to fund through select partner lenders. If you join under me, I'll help you make a realistic plan to hit that.

Yes. You'll get structured onboarding, self-paced video training, live Zoom calls, and access to an active LO support community. I'll help you plug into the right resources to avoid being overwhelmed.

NEXA University – If you're new to the industry, we have a world-class coaching program designed to help you succeed in the mortgage industry. The cost is 55bps per loan on your first 6 loans. This is also a requirement to graduate from the University.

Everything listed here is optional (except the University if you are new).

NEXA provides live daily support for loan structuring, conditions, lender navigation, and general help. You'll also have compliance, payroll, HR and onboarding support all through live Zoom rooms, so you're never alone or stuck guessing.

If you're in the NEXA University you'll also have a personalized coach, structured classes and help all the way through the loan process.

Most files close in about 2 weeks, depending on the lender and file complexity. NEXA's systems and support help you move loans faster than most, without unnecessary delays.

You can still fund loans and stay active with NEXA. At the end of the day, NEXA is about volume and helping you bring the best value to your borrowers with the business structure that you have developed. If you decide not to recruit, you won't be eligible for 100% commission after your first six months unless you hit 2 million in volume at our NEXA 100 lenders, UWM, MLB and EPM in a given month. There are no other penalties.
